На 1 октомври 2007г. в гр. Пазарджик беше открит паметник на Иван Динков, почетен гражданин на гр. Пазаржик.
Иван Динков е роден на 26 август 1932 г. в с. Смилец, Пазарджишки окръг. Завършва гимназия в гр. Стрелча и право в Софийския университет. Основател е и генерален директор на издателство „Христо Ботев“. Носител ена националните литературни награди „Иван Вазов“, „П.К.Яворов“, „Никола Вапцаров“, „Никола Фурнаджиев“, „Иван Николов“ и „Златният ланец“ на в. „Труд“.
На 1 октомври 2007г. в гр. Пазарджик беше открит паметник на Иван Динков, почетен гражданин на гр. Пазаржик.
